About
Verna Marquez
As a proud 10-year U.S. Army veteran who served during Desert Storm, I bring resilience, discipline, and a steadfast commitment to service into every aspect of my life and career. With over 20 years of nursing experience in ICU, ASU, and PACU settings, I have cultivated a deep passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care, grounded in clinical excellence. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University and am currently pursuing my DNP in PMHNP from Samuel Merritt University, embracing lifelong learning as a cornerstone of personal and professional growth. Outside of work, I find joy and balance in fishing, hiking, and exploring new knowledge and skills, always striving to live with curiosity and purpose. I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact in healthcare and beyond, combining my diverse experiences to serve others with empathy and expertise
